Crossdresser dating sites and apps compared (October 2026)
Search for the best crossdresser dating sites and you will find lists that rank services without explaining why. This page takes a different approach. Rather than declaring a winner, it sets out facts we could check about each service, as of October 16, 2026, and suggests who each is likely to suit. We run Crossdress Lovers, so we are not neutral; that is why every claim about other services is dated, attributed to their own homepage or app store listing, and limited to what we could verify. Rival sites are named but not linked.
How we compared
For each service we read its homepage or app store listing on October 16, 2026 and noted its focus, what it says you can do before paying, any privacy features it lists and any prices it publishes. Where we could not check something, the table says "not checked". Competitor prices are given with their currency. We have not tested paid features on other sites, and we have not used anyone's membership numbers, since those are rarely independently verifiable.

ClubCrossDressing
One of the longest-running names in the niche; its footer shows 2009 to 2026. Blends dating with chat rooms and a large advice library,. A natural choice if community matters as much as dating. Full comparison: Crossdress Lovers vs ClubCrossDressing.
CrossDressersOnline
Presents itself as an international community covering seven countries, including South Africa. Its homepage says profiles are manually reviewed, photos are private by default and billing does not mention crossdressing. It says articles are on the way. Full comparison: Crossdress Lovers vs CrossDressersOnline.
Date A Crossdresser
Promotes itself with a ranking claim we could not test, and a new account comes bundled with extra memberships on related sites, so your profile can surface in more than one place. Full comparison: Crossdress Lovers vs Date A Crossdresser.
Meet A Crossdresser
It centres sign-up on flirts and email updates and uses a personals-network template. Full comparison: Crossdress Lovers vs Meet A Crossdresser.
TS Dates
Aimed mainly at trans dating; pages localise to where you are browsing and helplines are listed for three countries. It may suit trans women and their admirers more than crossdressers. Full comparison: Crossdress Lovers vs TS Dates.
Taimi
A broad LGBTQ+ dating app on iPhone and Android with notable privacy features: stealth mode, screenshot blocking and private cards. It sells a premium tier. Crossdressers can use it, but the audience is broad, so narrowing to your niche takes filtering. Full comparison: Crossdress Lovers vs Taimi.
Translr
An 18+ app aimed at trans people and admirers, whose App Store listing names crossdressers among those it welcomes. A swipe app with photo and video checks; its VIP prices start at $14.99 for a month in the US store. Full comparison: Crossdress Lovers vs Translr.
Mainstream apps, forums and social media
General dating apps have huge audiences but leave crossdressers to handle disclosure. Forums and local groups are excellent for support and friendship but are not dating services. Social media can connect people but carries outing risks. Our comparisons cover each: mainstream apps, forums and local groups and social media DMs. Name confusion is common too; see Crossdress Lovers vs Crossdresser Dating Site.
How to choose
Ask yourself four questions:
- Do I want dating, community or both? Community-led sites suit people who want friendship and advice; dating-first sites suit those ready to meet.
- Who do I want to meet? Crossdressers looking for admirers, admirers looking for crossdressers and couples may prefer a focused site. People in the wider trans or LGBTQ+ community may prefer a broader app.
- Website or app? A browser-based site leaves no icon on your phone; an app offers notifications and a polished interface. See is there a dating app for crossdressers?.
- What will I pay, and does it renew? Look for published prices and renewal terms before signing up.
Privacy, whichever you choose
Whatever you pick, keep dating pictures unique to that site, remove GPS data from them, avoid any username tied to your legal name and keep chat inside the service at first. Our safety guide explains each step.
Why we do not rank
Rankings imply measurements we cannot make fairly: how many active people use each service, how soon they reply, how many dates result. Few sites publish verifiable figures, and those that do rarely use the same definitions. A table of checkable facts, with a suggestion of who each service suits, is more useful and more honest. If a service changes its features or prices, the dates on this page tell you how current our information is.
A note on using more than one
Many people use two services at once: perhaps a community site for friendship and a dating site for romance, or a broad app alongside a focused site. That is sensible, as long as you keep profiles separate. Use different photos and usernames on each, track which subscriptions renew and when, and be honest with the people you talk to about what you are looking for.
Updates from our October 16 re-check
Re-reading rivals' pages added detail to the table:
- Member figures: several sites publish their own totals or online counters. We cannot verify them, so we quote none, including for ourselves.
- Safety statements: ClubCrossDressing lists blocking, reporting, moderation and blurred photos for signed-out visitors; CrossDressersOnline lists manual review and block and report tools; TS Dates says it does not run criminal background checks.
- Networks: Meet A Crossdresser and Crossdresser Dating Site both show profiles on related network sites and ask for consent to marketing emails at signup.
- App costs: Taimi's US in-app purchases range from $0.99 to $34.99 (lengths not stated); Translr also sells coin packs from $1.99.
Checking a site before you pay
Whichever service you shortlist, do three things before entering card details. Read the pricing page and note which plans renew. Find out how account deletion works, so you know you can leave cleanly. And look for the name that will appear on your bank statement, since a discreet descriptor matters if you share an account. A site that makes these easy to find is usually easier to deal with later, too. If any answer is missing, email support and judge the site by how clearly it replies.
